Aaron Cox earned his Bachelor of Arts from Madonna University in May 2003, graduating magna cum laude.  While at Madonna, he competed on the Madonna Crusaders Men’s Basketball team and served as captain from 2000-2003.  In 2005, he earned his Juris Doctorate with a concentration in litigation from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.  Aaron graduated magna cum laude and served on the Moot Court Board.

Aaron is now the principal attorney at the Law Offices of Aaron D. Cox.  The firm specializes in landlord-tenant and real estate investment issues.  Aaron’s practice areas include landlord-tenant law; property management law; debt collection; quiet-title actions; real-property disputes; litigation defense; corporate formation for real-estate investors; and business and estate planning for real-estate investors.

Aaron is also active outside of the law office.  He is a member of the Downriver Bar Association and the Taylor Rotary Club, and previously served as president of both organizations.  Aaron was first voted a “Rising Star, Top Attorney in Michigan” by Super Lawyers in 2012 and has been named to the list every year since.

My motivation

Being able to develop and grow a business that can provide for its employees and their families in the best way possible while assisting those with real estate problems in a professional and affordable manner is my motivation.

My latest accomplishments

I was voted to the Super Lawyer's list of rising star attorneys in Michigan for the fifth consecutive year.

Next big goal

My goal is to establish The Law Offices of Aaron D. Cox, PLLC as the pioneering Michigan law firm for real-estate investors and property managers.

Why is choosing your own path important?

The independence created by being in control of what you do and where you go is unquantifiable.
