Independent Student of the Day

Rebekah Nasralla is a senior from Calvin College majoring in psychology and business with a double concentration in operations and human resources. She will be graduating a semester early in December 2017. Originally from the Chicagoland area, Rebekah moved to Grand Rapids in pursuit of her degree.

On campus, Rebekah has kept involved as an academic coach and tutor.  She is the vice president of the Calvin Business and Economics Network and served as vice president and special events coordinator of the Calvin Business Forum.

Off campus, Rebekah volunteers with Feed My Starving Children and the Northern Illinois Food Bank, and as a sunday school and coffee bar volunteer at Encounter Church.

She is an intern for Haworth in the HRIS department. Rebekah truly enjoys working for a global company because she grew up appreciating a variety of perspectives through traveling all across North America, Central America, South America, and Europe.


My motivation

My motivation is to use the talents God has given me to the best of my ability to influence those around me in a positive way. 

My latest accomplishments

My latest accomplishment has been successfully completing my SharePoint Security Project two weeks ahead of deadline, in which I built and implemented a new, streamlined process for SharePoint administration and data security for ten HR departments. 

Next big goal

I hope to secure a job for post-graduation in December.
