Hillsdale College

Founded in 1844, Hillsdale College is a private, residential, coeducational, nonsectarian, classical liberal arts college with more than 1,450 students representing nearly every state in the country.

Located on a picturesque 400-acre campus in south central Michigan, it is nationally known for its principled refusal of federal or state subsidies and for its rigorous curriculum rooted in the enduring truths of the Western tradition.

A vibrant student life offers: Division II varsity sports, club and intramural athletics, choral and instrumental music, theater, dance, Greek life, spiritual life and volunteerism, student government, student publications, and numerous clubs and honorary societies.

An Honor Code, signed by all students, challenges them to honorable living with the goal of rising to self-government in the deepest sense.

Graduates are placed at a rate of 97% within six months of graduation, prepared not only for employment or graduate study, but for the broader work of living well.
