Why is choosing your own path important?
Choosing your own path in life and your career is important for many reasons. It provides freedom to be who you are and express what you stand for by creating your own meaning. It provides inspiration for others to do the same, by showing the successes of going on your own route.
One of my favorite quotes is from Ellen DeGeneres: "Follow your passion. Stay true to yourself. Never follow someone else's path unless you're in the woods and you're lost and you see a path. By all means, you should follow that."
