The College for Creative Studies is a world-class institution that offers creative thinkers and makers a place to thrive and expand their knowledge and skills through hands-on learning, conceptual thinking, creative problem-solving, visual communication, and technical expertise.

CCS alumni are entrepreneurs and working artists. They create the things we use every day, and their stories are a testament to the impact CCS alumni are making in the art/design world.  CCS students get internships and jobs around the country and outside the US through networking and services provided by our Office of Partnerships and Career Development team.

CCS offers excellent studio facilities, a wide variety of student support services, and institutionally supported student activities and clubs.

CCS offers Master of Arts, Master of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in multiple programs to align with industry requirements and needs, with 18 majors available for undergraduate students.

CCS alumni know success. They are entrepreneurs and working artists. Fortune 500 companies hire them. Last year, CCS welcomed 227 companies on campus for individual company visits, sponsored research projects, and recruiting events.

CCS is located in the heart of Detroit’s Innovation District.  It’s state-of-the-art facilities include two locations, the Walter and Josephine Ford Campus and the A. Alfred Taubman Center for Design Education, just one mile apart and accessible via a campus shuttle.
