My name is Collin Hewitt, and I was born in 1993 to Clark and Heidi Hewitt. I grew up in northern Michigan learning to love God and love people with all I have from my parents and others around me. Bringing glory to the Lord is my motivation for all I do!
I am a senior at Spring Arbor University, studying elementary education with minors in mathematics and integrated science. One of the key reasons I chose Spring Arbor was due to my love of the game of basketball. I've enjoyed the opportunity I've had at Spring Arbor to play collegiate basketball.
Bringing glory to the Lord is my motivation for all I do! My identity is completely in Christ.
My latest accomplishments
I recently received the "Do What's Right, Do Your Best, and Love Your Teammates" award for basketball.
Next big goal
My next big goal is to get a job as a third or fourth grade teacher. I would like to invest in not only my students' ability to learn, but also in their lives. I am excited to get the chance to work with a group of students.
Why is choosing your own path important?
Choosing our own path gives us the chance to explore and grow, and find the strengths that were given to us by God.
