Mackenzie Dickhudt
Highschool: Christian Leadership Academy
Class of 2017
Independent Student of the Day
I grew up in Troy, Michigan. While I attended my high school, Christian Leadership Academy, I participated in volleyball, basketball, swimming, and cross country. I was active in my school's Student Council as well. At Hillsdale, I spend my time in the pool and in the library. I am on the Women's Varsity Swim Team and I am working toward an Economics degree with the dream of possibly attending law school.
My motivation
I'm motivated by the dedication of my teammates.
My latest accomplishments
I recently was nominated to help prepare for a Free Market Conference in Indianapolis by my professor.
Next big goal
My next goal is to achieve a personal record at our mid-season championship meet at University of Chicago.
Why is choosing your own path important?
It is important for me because when I choose to do something, I give it my all. I am less motivated to do my best when someone else is forcing me to do another activity/class/job. I choose to participate in activities I love and am passionate about.
