Maggie Fowler
Highschool: St. Joseph High School
Class of 2019
Independent Student of the Day
Maggie Fowler is a senior at Albion College majoring in accounting with a CPA emphasis, and minoring in psychology and business & organizations. She is the president of the Student Volunteer Bureau, the vice president of service for the Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity, the vice president of scholarship and awards for the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity, and the treasurer for the Sigma Alpha Iota music fraternity. Maggie recently completed an assurance internship with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Maggie chose Albion College because coming from a small town, she knew she thrives in small, intimate learning environments. "The small student body and even smaller class sizes have allowed me to be more than just a number to professors and administrators, but rather a face with a name. This opportunity for the formation of valued relationships was what led me to choose Albion College," she said.
My latest accomplishments
I have successfully organized and completed a campus-wide Adopt-A-Family initiative through the Albion College Student Volunteer Bureau.
Next big goal
My next goal is the re-structuring of the Student Volunteer Bureau to extend its impact into communities beyond Albion.
Favorite place on campus
My favorite place on campus is the 4th floor of our student commons building. A converted attic with a beautiful view of the campus quad, this is a cozy place to study or just relax with a good book.Share this profile
