Alma College

Alma College is a private, liberal arts college located in Alma, Michigan. The enrollment is approximately 1,250 students pursuing one of four degrees (Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Music, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing) in over 50 programs of study. The College’s mission is “to prepare graduates who think critically, serve generously, lead purposefully and live responsibly as stewards of the world they bequeath to future generations.” Alma College has been recognized by the Princeton Review among the “50 Colleges that Create Futures.” Additionally, Alma has been named a 2024-2025 College of Distinction.

The Alma Commitment offers a pledge that each student will receive up to $2,500 in Alma Venture funding to participate in an experiential learning opportunity, such as an internship, research fellowship, or study abroad. Additionally, if a student meets program requirements but is not able to graduate on time through no fault of their own, the college will pay the tuition cost for their extra semester.
